The Hôtel Plaza Athénée is a magnificent venue for meetings, business conferences and special events for up to 120 guests. The hotel's two magnificent banqueting rooms each offer their own unique style and atmosphere and can be equipped with the latest technology for conferences. Both provide high-speed internet access, an inset screen and air conditioning. To assist with the organisation of meetings, banquets or conferences, our highly qualified staff are always on hand to help with the finer details and the catering can be tailor-made to suit your requirements.
For exceptional events, the bar is also available for hire.
In 2000, world-famous chef Alain Ducasse set up his triple Michelin-starred restaurant at Hôtel Plaza Athénée and supervises all the catering to this day. Having worked alongside him, the sommelier Gerard Margeon has joined the Hotel’s team and now invites guests to master the arts of the dining table – the French way.
In September 2006, the Hôtel Plaza Athénée’s cellar opened to the public. The sommelier offers the chance to taste a selection of the impressive 35,000 wine bottles, which include Château Cheval Blanc, Château Latour, Château Margaux, Pétrus and Montrachet.
To broaden their knowledge and offer an original work seminar or away day, the wine-savvy can book this as a motivational stay or a work seminar.

Opening fee : 500 €
Decouverte package at 150€: 6 wine tasting sessions + a book "les 100 mots du vin" by Sommelier Gerard Margeon.
Connoisseur package at 250€: 8 wine testing sessions + a book "les 100 mots du vin" by Sommelier Gerard Margeon.
Ambassade package at 500€: 10 wine testing sessions + a book "les 100 mots du vin" by Gerard Margeon.
Every session is served with breads and cheeses.
Some selected wine bottles will be available to buy in wooden cases of 1, 3 or 6 bottles.
