The Plaza Athénée always keeps up to date with the latest high-tech trends. Little surprise, then, that it is the first luxury hotel in Paris to equip its Royal Suite with a Panasonic 3D Full HD system.
Consisting of a NeoPDP plasma TV, a Blu-ray player and 3D Full HD glasses, the revolutionary system produces images of extraordinary depth and accuracy and provides perspectives never seen before. Films are no longer just watched; they are experienced. With its ability to screen the best of a 2D image (television as we know it today), the Panasonic 3D Full HD TV set is suitable for all types of use e.g. televised programmes (films, sports competitions, series, entertainment) thanks to the selection of DVDs available at the hotel and the 3D programmes broadcast by certain channels. It can also be used for video gaming and the Internet. Guests staying in the Royal Suite can display their photos and videos and access the multimedia contents from their computer on the 3D Full HD television set. This is powerful, efficient technology that meets all requirements!

Situated on the 5th floor, the Plaza Athénée's Royal Suite is a luxury residence with the atmosphere of an elegant Parisian home, furnished with authentic items and splendid antiques, dressed with silks and fabrics from leading design houses - residing in the Royal Suite means owning a corner of Paris. Fabric for the drapes is embroidered using three different gold threads, whilst the bathrooms are tiled entirely in Italian marble mosaics and engraved glass. Flowers from all four seasons can be found around the suite, creating a fresh and vibrant atmosphere all year round.
