VIC for Very Important Children, that's the name of the new website launched by the Plaza Athénée and entirely designed for "teens" and "kids".
When community means exclusivity
Whatever the age group (the Kids’ section is designed for 6 to 10-year-olds while the Teens section gives 11 to 14-year-olds contents better-suited to their age and interests), the website lets all VICs enjoy some unforgettable moments at the Plaza Athénée. It gives them the addresses of the fashionable boutiques where trendy young Parisians go to do a spot of shopping. It unlocks the secrets of Paris. It gives them a few ideas for chic but unusual gifts.
The VIC website is accessible to everyone, however, certain information is exclusive to the VIC’s, who have stayed (or are going to stay) at the Plaza Athénée. Access to “My Plaza”, a travel blog to exchange photos and videos of your stay in Paris, cool addresses, fun things to do, etc. is also reserved for Plaza Athénée VIC’s. With their parents’ permission, children can ask for an identifier and password when the booking is made. Then, even before they arrive at the hotel, they can log onto the blog to prepare their trip and find out about life in Paris, in the luxury hotel and behind the scenes in the hotel. When they arrive at the hotel, they will receive a “Special Kids” or a “Special Teens” card (depending on their age) and will then be member of the very exclusive, Plaza Athénée VIC’s club.
